Sunsets and small people.

The ‘Pink Lake’ (Laguna Rosa) is famous for, well, being pink! But if you are there near the end of the day, you may be lucky enough to witness a scene like this. When I took the shot, I was so preoccupied framing the sun with the palm trees that I almost missed the couple standing at the water’s edge. The human brain being what it is, I recalled a scene from Father Ted. The one where Ted and Dougal are looking out the window. Ted is explaining to Dougal that the cows in the field aren’t small, they’re far away. If you have seen that episode you’ll appreciate the reference. If not, you’ll think I’m rambling. A good comedy sketch is timeless. Just like sunsets.
